Nagaon Unveils Modern Olympic-Sized Swimming Pool

Nagaon, 22 Oct: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated a new Olympic-sized swimming pool on Mahatma Gandhi Path in Nagaon on Wednesday. The facility, constructed under the Chief Minister’s Development Fund (CIDF), was built at a cost of over ₹7.12 crore.

The pool complex includes office spaces, an executive lounge, a store room, and a public gallery. Officials said the facility is expected to strengthen Nagaon’s sports infrastructure and provide support for the development of future athletes.
