National Dengue Day observed in Dima Hasao

HAFLONG, May 16: 
National Dengue Day was observed on Tuesday at the Urban Health Centre (UHC) Haflong which was organised by the National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control, Dima Hasao, Haflong with an aim to control dengue by creating awareness and initiating preventive action.
SDM&HO Medical and Health Services, Dr Leena Hakmosa who presided over the meeting, described various aspects of dengue fever and discussed how to promote measures to prevent the disease.
The programme was also attended by the joint director of Health Services Dr Duleshwar Gogoi, district immunisation officer Dr Merina Changsan, nurses and staff.
