National Education Day observed at Biswanath College

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 11: On the occasion of National Education Day, the department of Education, Biswanath College organised three important events that included inauguration of the departmental News Bulletin – ‘GYANAM’, a motivational talk on ‘Importance of yoga education among students’ and a poster presentation competition on Friday at Biswanath College.
Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, principal, Biswanath College addressed the audience with an inauguration speech. Two guests – BK Savita Sharma and BK Bina from the Brahmakumari (A spiritual and value based educational centre) were invited for the motivational and spiritual talk on yoga education.
Dr Karabi Gogoi, HoD, department of Education and Dr Mita Hazarika, assistant professor, department of English, Biswanath College graced as judges for the poster presentation competition. The entire programme was hosted by Antareepa Bora, assistant professor, department of Education. The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks offered by Bhaben Kalita, another faculty member of the Education department. The programme was carried out under the guidance of Ajit Kr Dutta, (HoD) department of Education and Dr Nabanita Sharma.
