NAGAON, Nov 4: The 8 Assam battalion of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) organized a ten-day long
CATC-88 camp at JNV Morigaon, aimed at honing the life skills and leadership qualities of NCC cadets.
The training camp that commenced on October 25 concluded on Friday. Cadets were engaged in a
rigorous training programme designed to instill discipline, leadership, physical fitness, and teamwork.
During the camp, Brig SS Gill, NCC group commander visited the site of the training and also motivated
the cadets, leaving an indelible mark on their journey of self-discovery, setting goals and leadership.
Officials from the North Eastern Development Fin Corp Ltd (NEDFi), army recruiting office (ARO) Narangi,
DPO Morigaon for disaster mitigation training, Fire fighting services department, the principals of two
prominent colleges and other distinguished guests also graced the event with their presence.
The 8 Assam battalion of BN NCC, Nagoan has committed to promote character development, life skills ,
leadership, and community service among the youth. The successful completion of the training camp is a
significant milestone in this endeavor, an official release said here.
