NFR to operate two more special trains to clear rush

GUWAHATI, April 23: The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate three trips of a special train between Howrah – New Jalpaiguri and six trips of another special train between New Jalpaiguri – Kolkata to clear the extra rush of passengers during the ongoing summer season.
Train No. 03013 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) special will run for three trips leaving from Howrah at 23:40 hours on Monday & Saturday to reach New Jalpaiguri at 10:10 hours on Tuesday & Sunday. The first trip of the train will leave on April 23 and subsequently the second and third trips will leave Howrah on April 25 and 30. In return direction, Train No. 03014 (New Jalpaiguri – Howrah) special will run for three trips leaving from New Jalpaiguri at 12:45 hours on Tuesday & Sunday to reach Howrah at 23:55 hours on the same day. The train will leave from New Jalpaiguri on April 24 & 26 and May 1. The special train will consist of 13 coaches. There will be 1 AC Two Tier coach, 10 AC Three Tier coaches, 01 Luggage cum Generator Van and 1 Luggage cum Divyaang Compartment.
Train No. 05754 (New Jalpaiguri – Kolkata) special will run for six trips leaving from New Jalpaiguri at 04:00 hours on all Fridays to reach Kolkata at 15:00 hours on the same day from April 29 till June 3. In return direction, Train No. 05753 (Kolkata – New Jalpaiguri) special will run for six trips leaving from Kolkata at 23:10 hours on all Fridays to reach New Jalpaiguri at 10:30 hours on Saturday from April 29 till June 3. The special train will consist of 16 coaches. There will be 2 luggage vans, 6 general seating coaches, 5 sleeper coaches and 3 AC three-tier coaches.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
