NHM, Assam signs MoU with QURE and PATH/CHRI

GUWAHATI, Dec 16: An MoU was signed between National Health Mission, Assam, QURE and PATH/CHRI on Friday.
Dr M S Lakshmi Priya IAS, mission director, NHM, Assam signed the MoU with Dr Shibu Vijayan (medical director – Global Health Qure) and representatives from PATH/CHRI for qXR, an artificial intelligence (AI) enabled X-ray reading for Tuberculosis case detection in 5 districts of Assam under Project Samridh.
Qure AI application is a WHO-recommended TB screening software that assists in X-ray reading which generates reports in less than one minute. Assam is on a fast track mode for TB elimination efforts and partnership with Qure will accelerate and improve the state’s effort towards TB elimination.
Rejesh Bose (project manager – Qure), Raju Ojha, Dr Abhijit Basu, Dr Palash and Dr Rahul Sharma were present during the signing.
