NTPC Bongaigaon bags awards in Global Communication Conclave

KOKRAJHAR, Nov 18: The NTPC Bongaigaon Salakati was awarded multiple awards at the 16th Global Communication Conclave hosted by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) under the 12th PRCI Excellence Awards 2022 at the 16th Global Communication Conclave held in Kolkata on Thursday.
NTPC Bongaigaon Salakati bagged four awards – one platinum, one silver, one bronze and consolation awards. The platinum awards are for corporate films made on the best environment-friendly practices (Migratory Bird Film) at NTPC Bongaigaon. The silver award has been given for the promotion of art and culture – Northeast Festival held at NTPC Bongaigaon, bronze for design excellence for creatives done for various occasions, consolation prize for best use of content for the e-VOICE initiatives under CSR.
These awards were conferred to NTPC Bongaigaon by Sanjeev Kumar, managing director (Tata Steel), S Kamath, chairman, Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), M B Jayaram, president and chief patron of PRCI, Dr ST Ramachandra, former GM, Canara Bank and other senior members of PRCI were also present in the program to Madhurjya Singha Lahkar, senior manager, HR-Corporate Communication, NTPC Bongaigaon.
Expressing satisfaction on receiving the award in the station, Karunakar Das, CGM, NTPC Bongaigaon expressed his hearty congratulations to team Bongaigaon and HR department for bringing laurels to the station. Arunashis Das, GM (Project), Shashi Shekhar, AGM (HR) and Paresh Mathur, AGM (TS) were also present on the occasion.
More than 60 companies from private and public sector organisations participated in the awards. These awards and accolades, presented by the Public Relations Council of India, are an effort towards recognising and acknowledging those organisations which have given stellar performance and elevated professional standards in the field of public relations, creative communication, content generation, corporate social responsibility and stakeholder management.
