Banti Dutta, a senior assistant teacher of Gaurisagar High school, and wife of Pabitra Dutta, vice principal of Dikhowmukh college, died on Wednesday at Sivasagar Pragati Nursing Home following prolonged illness. She was 56.
Her untimely demise was widely mourned. A good number of social organisations paid floral tribute to her.
She is survived by her husband, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives.
