JORHAT, Jan 6: A photography exhibition was organised at Assam Women’s University by the students of the first semester of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism on Friday. The themes of the photo-exhibition were – Beauty of Nature, Man at Work and Street photography. As many as 52 photographs were displayed during the exhibition.
The event was organised in connection with the practical works of the students of the department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Assam Women’s University.
Dr. Suryya Kumar Chetia, assistant professor and head (i/c) of Mass Communication and Journalism Department said that the exhibition was organised to create interest of the students in photography.
“The students are very enthusiastic in taking photographs. But they require a systematic approach to showcase their creativity in photography,” he added.
