MARGHERITA, Jan 11: A successful operation on Wednesday led by Bakul Ingti, officer-in-charge of Pengree police station, nabbed three poachers at Bebejia village under Pengree police station of Tinsukia district.

During the operation, five handmade guns, skins of wild animals and various objectionable items were recovered from the poachers’ possession.

The apprehended poachers were identified as Anil Koya, Jugnu Orang and Turku Munda, belonging to Bebejia village of Duwarmarah under Pengree police station of Tinsukia district.

As per initial reports, a case has been registered at Pengree police station and all three apprehended poachers have been sent to judicial custody.
