Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan inaugurated

NAGAON, Nov 13: Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was ceremonially inaugurated in the district at a function held at Nagaon Dew Care Hospital and Research Centre on Saturday. Dr Gulzar Hussain, district tuberculosis specialist, inaugurated the drive.
During the inaugural programme, a special free health camp was also organised by Dew Care Hospital and Research Centre in association with Ushuf Memorial Society. In the health camp, the owner of Dew Care Hospital and Research Centre, Dr Faridul Hussain distributed free medicines, nutritional supplements and other kit among 10 selected tuberculosis patients and also promised to provide them for the next six months.
Along with Dr Gulzar Hussain, Dr Faridul Hussain, Rouson Siddika and Mubarak Hussain, coordinator and inspector of district tuberculosis department, Nagaon respectively were also present in the inaugural programme, a release added.
