DIPHU, May 3: Villagers of Pub-Silputa, Bakulia protested the demolition of a shed by the Forest department used by devotees while offering prayers at a hillside shrine.
On Tuesday, hundreds of villagers gathered and protested against the Forest officials for damaging the shed. Villagers questioned why the forest officials destroyed the shed. And also demanded the government to construct a new shed at Lambui Pahar under Pub-silputa, Bakulia where hundreds of villagers have been offering prayers since 1962 at the stone shrine.
