MARGHERITA, Nov 14: Rameswar Teli, MoS for Petroleum, Natural Gas, Labour and Employment, on Monday inaugurated the entrance gate of the Nazirating Tamuli Tourist Complex at Digboi under Tinsukia district.
Rameswar Teli was accompanied by Suren Phukan, MLA of Digboi constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Rameswar Teli thanked Suren Phukan, Digboi MLA for his unwavering zeal in the development of the naturally blessed area with exotic flora and fauna and said, “BJP led government both at the Union and state is working on many fronts to develop the region.”
Suren Phukan said, “Co-operation from locals is of utmost importance in developing and maintaining the tourist destination.” Phukan also urged the inhabitants of the surrounding areas to keep the Dibru river clean and to keep the complex plastic free.
The Nazirating Tamuli Tourist Complex Gate is designed by Bhaskar Buragohain and the design was highly applauded by all for its unique creativity.
The programme was attended by members of the local bodies, gaon panchayats, media persons and local people of the area.
