Reliance Jio crossed the 2 lakh subscribers mark in the Wireline segment

GUWAHATI, Aug 24: Reliance Jio, India’s leading digital services provider, has crossed the 2 lakh subscribers mark in the Wireline segment in the North East telecom circle as of June 2024, according to the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report. This milestone underscores Jio rapid expansion in the region, reflecting its commitment to enhance connectivity in the region.

 On a national scale, Jio added 4,34,128 subscribers in June 2024, pushing its total wireline subscriber base to 13,195,801. The sustained growth in the North East is indicative of Jio strategic emphasis on bolstering its advanced infrastructure in the region,ensuring broader access to high-quality, reliable digital services. Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur,Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura now have more than 200,000 Jio wireline subscribers.

In the wireless segment, Jio added 50,776 subscribers to in the month of June to reach 4,417,294 subscribers in the region. Jio’s comprehensive service offerings, which include dependable internet, entertainment, and digital solutions, have struck a chord with consumers nationwide.

Through ongoing investment in its wireless and wireline infrastructure, Jio continues to drive forward its mission of a digitally empowered India.
