Dibrugarh , Jan 10: Former Union minister and senior Congress leader Paban Singh Ghatowar alleged BJP for replacing the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) to Aajeevika Mission (Gramin).

Speaking to reporters in Dibrugarh, Ghatowar said even the people cannot pronounced the name correctly. “The Centre has weakened the spirit of MGNREGA by curtailing the powers of gram panchayats, particularly their authority to decide the nature of works and allocate employment,”.
