Shyam Nishan Padayatra to be organised in Hojai

HOJAI, Oct 31: “Sawariya Bhakat Mandal, Hojai is going to organise ‘Shyam Nishan Padayatra’ (footsteps procession) on November 4,” said Lalit Bora and Sanjay Murarka – shyam devotees.
They also said, “As per the grace of the incarnation of God in this Kaliyugaa Baba Shyam, Sawariya Bhakat Mandal is going to organise a Nishan Padayatra (rally with religious flag to be offered to Baba Shyam) from Hojai’s Laxminarayan temple campus to Shyam darbar in Maa Durga Balaji Babosaha temple at Tumpreng road in Hojai on November 4.”
“On November 4 morning, at 8:30, the ritual (puja) will begin at Laxminarayan temple and after that the padayatra will start with the devotees in the traditional attire holding the nishaan (religious flag),” Manoj Sarma, another devotee added.
They further informed that on November 5, a religious programme will be organised in the evening from 5 pm onwards at Ram Sadan in Sri Laxminarayan Temple where bhajan artist – Aansh and Bhansh from Faridabad will perform at Baba Shyam’s darbar.
All the members of Sawariya Bhakat Mandal, Hojai have requested the devotees of Baba Shyam to make this religious event successful by participating in large numbers.
