Sibsagar College Alumni Conference to be held on Sept 25

SIVASAGAR, Sept 19: The Sibsagar College, a premier autonomous institution, established by ‘Phulani kobi’ Padmadhar Chaliha and ‘Seuj kobi’ Parag Chaliha, has completed 75 years of existence. The college is celebrating the year-long platinum jubilee programme on the occasion and is preparing for the closing ceremony on October 31, November 1 and 2 with a three-day programme.
The college alumni meet will be held on November 1. To discuss how to make the event successful, the Sivasagar College Students’ Union has convened a general meeting at Madhavchandra Bezbaruah Bhawan in the college on September 25. The organisers have called upon all the alumni to be present on the day to give constructive suggestions.
