Social worker passes away in Demow

DEMOW, Sept 30: Anima Phukan (84), a resident of Demow Kushal Path, social worker, sports person and ‘Diha naam’ artist passed away on Thursday night. She was suffering from old age ailments.
Anima Phukan took part in the Assam Andolan from the Demow area. She was also an active member of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) since the foundation of AGP Party. Her demise has been widely condoled in the area.
Anima Phukan leaves behind her family members and a host of relatives.
