SSB organises blood donation camp

KOKRAJHAR, Aug 9: 
A blood donation camp was organised by the 64th Battalion of Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB), based at Barama of Baksa district. It was held at Howly, near Barpeta Road on Monday under the initiative of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
A total of 40 personnel of 64th Battalion of SSB donated blood to extend humanity welfare and services among the needy people.
The blood donation was organised by SSB’s 64th battalion in association with Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College & Hospital (FAAMCH), Barpeta.
During the programme, Nand Kishore Tamta, commandant; Satish Chandra Gangwar, deputy commandant and team of FAAMCH, Barpeta; Dr. Perth Kamal Kakati, Dr Dulmoni Saikia, and other medical staff were present.
