State BJP president Bhabesh Kalita campaigns for Deori Autonomous Council election

MARGHERITA, Nov 1: State BJP president, Bhabesh Kalita visited Bordumsa to campaign for Jugen Deori, a BJP AGP UPPL alliance candidate for number 3 Margherita (ST) Constituency. His visit is just a few days before the Deori Autonomous Council election which is going to be held on November 8.
Deori Autonomous Council election heat is already blowing in the state as cabinet ministers, MLAs and MPs in the BJP government ruling the state are trying to form the council.
State BJP president Bhabesh Kalita was accompanied by BJP state general secretary Pulak Gohain; cabinet ministers – Bimal Bora, Sanjay Kishan; Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma, Doomdooma MLA Rupesh Gowala, Tinsukia district BJP president Kushokanta Borah. Other BJP leaders also arrived at Mahatma Gandhi High School ground in Bordumsha to campaign for Jogen Deori BJP AGP UPPL alliance candidate for number 3 Margherita (ST) Constituency.
A public meeting was organised by BJP Buridehing Mandal Committee and BJP Margherita Block Mandal Committee where Bhabesh Kalita was welcomed by Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma with a traditional Assamese japi, traditional deori gamosa and a xorai.
Bhabesh Kalita said that after the formation of BJP led government numerous developments took place under the strong leadership of PM Narendra Modi and very soon, all round development work shall be done at Deori Autonomous Council areas of Assam.
State BJP president Bhabesh Kalita and other BJP leaders were welcomed through a bike rally which was taken out by the BJP Buridehing Mandal and Margherita BJP Sadar Mandal Committee.
