DIPHU, Aug 13:Â A general instruction to all departments of the Government of Assam was made to hoist the national flag on their office premises from August 13 to 15. In Karbi Anglong many Government offices do not follow the Government instructions. Among the offices which did not follow the general instruction was the Inspector of Schools here.

The national flag was tied to a pole which dangled there at the foot of the pole for the whole day. Later in the evening a staff member of the Inspector of Schools came and hoisted the tricolour.
