Title Track Of ‘Local Utpaat’ Released

GUWAHATI, May 6: The title track of Kenny Basumatary’s latest film ‘Local Utpaat’, sung by rapper Kool-D, was released on Thursday.

The Assamese rap has been well-received by the ‘Heavy Budget’ fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of the film ‘Local Utpaat’ which will hit the silver screens on May 13.

Vocals and lyrics for the ‘Local Utpaat’ rap was done by Kool-D while Akashdeep Gogoi mixed and mastered the catchy rap. The cool video with ‘utpaat hip-hop’ choreography was directed by Poonam Gurung who plays a lead role in the ‘Local Utpaat’ film.

Other credits for the already trending song includes Uddipan Dutta as assistant director, cinematography by Suruj Deka and Chandan Saikia, edit and colour by Upamanyoo Das, drone by Rupam Sharma, Bibhash Sinha as production manager and Anupam Baishya as line producer.

The video, which features the lead cast of the ‘Local Utpaat’ film, including Bonny Deori, Kenny Basumatary, Johnny Deori, Montu Deuri and Bibhash Sinha, among others, also includes dancers Nikhil Marak and Rahul Atwal. The BTS was done by Ikrim.

Written, edited and directed by Kenny Basumatary, ‘Local Utpaat’ is the fourth feature film from the ‘Local Kung Fu’ and ‘Heavy Budget’ team.

The film also stars Sarmistha Chakravorty, Tony Deori Basumatary, Himanshu Gogoi, Kaushik Nath, Mrigendra Konwar, Bibhuti Bhushan Hazarika and Yatharth Agnihotri.
