Two farmers injured in leopard attack at Samaguri Mikirgaon

NAGAON, Dec 1: Narsingh Orang and Denial Horo of Bordal Mikirgaon, under Samaguri PS while harvesting paddy in a crop field were seriously injured in a sudden attack of a suspected wild leopard coming from the nearby jungle on Thursday, sources said.
Meanwhile, the injured farmers were immediately admitted in Nagaon BP Civil Hospital for treatment, sources said, adding that the condition of the victims are stable.
Speaking to this correspondent here, Range officer of Salna Forest Range, Nepal Mandal said that the leopard suddenly came from the nearby forest and attacked on their hands as well as feet and then fled the scene.
