NAGAON, July 25: The 8 Assam Battalion of NCC under guidance of Tezpur Group organised a three day long workshop for recruitment of the proposed Agniveers in Indian army and Navy under Agnipath scheme which was initiated by Union government since July 21 last at Nagaon police reserve colony field. The workshop concluded on Saturday last. Over 107 NCC cadets from the battalion participated in the workshop.
During the first day of the workshop, the candidates learned how to carry out the online registration as well as how the required documents for the recruitment would be checked. Besides, the intended candidates were also given the tips to face the medical screening or test and other tests on current affairs by the experts from the battalion.
Apart from this, the experts from 8 Assam Battalion, NCC also conducted the mock written test among the participants during the workshop and also dispelled the ongoing confusion as well as myths about the Agnipath scheme across the country, a release added.
