GUWAHATI, Dec 1: The Royal School of Pharmacy commemorated World AIDS Day on Thursday, with poster presentation, discussion and quiz competition to spread awareness about the chronic immune system disease and current statistics of the same worldwide at the varsity campus.
During the event, faculty and students of Royal School of Pharmacy visited various departments of the university and conducted awareness drives and quizzed the students to spread knowledge to fight against HIV and to show support to the people living with HIV.
Active participation by the students and faculty members of the department along with other members of the fraternity helped ring about a healthy discussion regarding AIDS, its discovery, evolution, nature of communicability, detailed and extensive understanding of AIDS, and its severity in the current national and international scenario.
