Guwahati, Oct 08: APS officer Sandipan Garg was arrested on Wednesday, 8 October, following his questioning by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the death of singer Zubeen Garg.
The arrest reportedly took place after Sandipan arrived at the CID office for questioning. He will be produced in the CJM Court later today. Sandipan, who is the cousin of the late singer, was reportedly present on the yacht in Singapore where the incident occurred.

The SIT had earlier arrested two individuals on October 1 in relation to the case. Siddharth Sharma, the singer’s manager, and Shyamkanu Mahanta, the festival organiser behind the Singapore event, were taken into custody.
The investigation continues as authorities seek clarity on the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.
