GUWAHATI, Feb 19: India’s fastest growing Electric Vehicle two Wheeler company ‘Ather’ organised EV awareness ride in Guwahati.
Over 100 riders joined the biggest EV community ride of Eastern India on a perfect Sunday morning.

Speaking on the occasion Nitesh Goyal owner of SAR Entrade Pvt. Ltd. said Ather Guwahati has organised this one of its kind event in Eastern India. The Ather Community Ride program included various activities to engage Ather customers and build a stronger relationship amongst them. Green Plantations, Paint my Ather, Aim the Prize, Drone Photography and demonstration of Auto Hill-Hold were few amongst other attractions during the event.
Over 100 Ather 450 riders joined the community ride that started from Sonaram Field, Bharalumukh at 8.30 am.
The awareness ride covered MG Road, Dighalipukhri, Ulubari, GS Road, Ganeshguri and again the same route followed by the riders and it concluded at Sonaram Field. The closing ceremony included interactions with participants and a Lucky draw followed by Fellowship over breakfast for all the participants.
He further said Ather Energy has recently introduced a slew of updates for its Ather 450 range of Electric vehicles and these were demonstrated at its marquee customer event – Ather Community Ride in Guwahati City.
Ather has introduced an ‘Extended warranty program’ of 5 years/60,000 kms for all the new and existing Ather customers. Ather’s latest software AtherStack 5.0 with an immersive UI (User Interface) called the ‘wings of power’ and attractive new color options were the star attractions of event.
Ather 450 is the 1st and only scooter in the world that makes use of Google’s onboard navigation system. Ather gets a new hill-hold feature called ‘AutoHold’ that holds the vehicle on slopes and hills.
In the past few months, Central and Assam State Government have announced many policies and measures that have brought very positive sentiments amongst the public at large about adoption of Electric Vehicles. This event has further enhanced and increased the awareness about clean and green energy driven Electric Vehicles.
