GUWAHATI, Aug 02: Axis Bank unveiled ‘Sampann,’ a premium banking offering designed exclusively for the growth-focused and progressive customers in rural and semi-urban regions. This new initiative reflects Axis Bank’s unwavering commitment to a customer-centric approach for the Rural and Semi-Urban (RUSU) segment. Sampann is a strategic move towards catering to the needs of the new-age Bharat, ensuring easy access to comprehensive financial solutions.

Through Sampann, Axis Bank will provide an array of exclusive benefits, including discounts on farming devices, agricultural inputs like pesticides and seeds, and a wide range of value-add services such as crop advisory, weather forecasting, and real-time mandi prices. The platform will also facilitate credit accessibility by offering discounted processing fees on agri loans, gold loans, tractor funding, auto loans, and two-wheeler loans.

Additionally, Sampann introduces a family banking program, locker discounts, higher account transaction limits with free debit and credit cards, discounted demat services, and a dedicated relationship manager, among other benefits.

Speaking about the launch, Munish Sharda, Group Executive & Head – Bharat Banking, and Ravi Narayanan, Group Executive & Head- Branch Banking, Retail Liabilities & Products, Axis Bank, emphasized the goal of providing equitable access to premium banking services for customers in rural and semi-urban areas.
