Classmate All Rounder Champions holistic learning

GUWAHATI, April 11: ITC’s Classmate, India’s leading notebook and stationery brand, concluded the third edition of its flagship “Classmate All Rounder (CAR)” programme with a vibrant national finale on Friday, in New Delhi.

Sixty exceptional students from across the country competed in the final round after emerging successful from earlier stages.

Two winning teams—one each from the junior (Classes 6–8) and senior (Classes 9–12) categories—claimed the Classmate All Rounder 2024 title, receiving ₹1 lakh each and the winner’s trophy.

According to an official statement, the programme was created to help students discover and celebrate their all-round potential.

Participants were evaluated across diverse skills, including critical thinking, cultural awareness, sustainability, sports, ethics, creativity, and communication—promoting a well-rounded approach to learning aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

This year’s edition saw 2.1 lakh students from 700 schools across 14 cities take part.

The finale was graced by CISCE Chairperson Dr Joseph Emmanuel as Chief Guest, with Apurva Chamaria and Manoj Mittal serving as judges.

Vikas Gupta, Chief Executive of ITC’s Education and Stationery Products Division, congratulated the winners and reaffirmed Classmate’s commitment to fostering all-round growth and a lifelong love for learning.

Dr Emmanuel praised the initiative as a strong example of NEP 2020 in action, highlighting its role in nurturing balanced development in students.

The competition’s final round tested students through team presentations, quizzes, and real-world Q&A challenges, all designed by experts from NCERT, SCERT, NEP, and NCF to ensure academic depth.

Classmate continues to support innovative learning through tools like AR-based notebooks, logic-building eduGAMES, and the ‘myClassmate’ app—making education more immersive, engaging, and enjoyable.
