HDFC Bank launches Nationwide campaign

GUWAHATI, Aug 9: In a pioneering move, HDFC Bank has kicked off a week-long campaign, ‘Purani Gaadi, Nayi Shuruaat’, starting from August 7. The initiative is set to facilitate advances for the purchase of pre-owned commercial vehicles and construction equipment for transporters and contractors.

Rahul S Shukla, HDFC Bank’s Group head of commercial & rural Banking, expressed his enthusiasm about this far-reaching initiative, highlighting the bank’s commitment to reaching customers in remote locales. Shukla emphasized that the endeavor will empower countless drivers to transition into proud vehicle owners.

Rajinder Kummar Babbar, group head of HDFC Bank’s Transportation & Infrastructure Finance Group, echoed the sentiment, affirming that this initiative will enable the bank to attract new patrons and bolster its market share in this pivotal segment. Importantly, the majority of the financing within this realm aligns with Priority Sector Lending guidelines.
