GUWAHATI, March 10: Redcliffe Labs, a unit of Redcliffe Lifetech in the US and India, recently launched a Satellite lab in Guwahati. The new facility is well equipped to process over 500 tests in-house with 1,000 health packages every day and other tests are processed from the National Reference lab of the company in Noida. The lab provides all diagnostic test reports within a quick turnaround time of 8 to 12 hours post receiving the sample.

Commenting on the launch, Dheeraj Jain, founder, Redcliffe Labs said, “Access to good quality diagnostic services at affordable prices for every Indian, has been one of our main motto. As India’s first National diagnostic platform delivering a 3,500 tests menu, research-backed genetics, grassroots camps, home comfort collection, and hospital labs management, we intend to serve patients all across the country. Guwahati, being one of the most rapidly growing cities in northeast India, it was important for us to cater to the growing healthcare demand. Being well-connected to all other towns and cities of the north-eastern region, we will be able to give same-day test results to patients. We understood that a centralised lab is not enough given that same day or next day reporting is essential across large tests selections. Thus, we started setting up satellite labs in various cities. The Guwahati lab is a step towards our mission to serve 500 million Indians by 2027.”

Notably, Redcliffe Labs is providing over 3,500 tests across its wide network of labs and collection centers. The company has served about a million Indians and is processing over 200000 test parameters daily. The test portfolio is very wide including routine pathology tests, advanced genetic screening, research-based DNA tests in reproductive health, cancer, and wellness/fitness. The easy to interpret smart reports provide key health check-points, which can help in diagnosing and treating both chronic and acute diseases on time. The company currently has 17 labs and 500 authorised collection centers.
