Tax Bar Association Guwahati elects new leadership for 2025-26

GUWAHATI, Sept 18: The Tax Bar Association, Guwahati, a premier professional body for tax experts in the North-East, has elected its office bearers for the year 2025-26.

The newly elected Executive Committee held a meeting on September 17, during which CA Pankaj Khandelia, a prominent Chartered Accountant from Guwahati, was unanimously chosen as President of the Association.

The positions of Vice President were assigned to CA Kailash Prasad Sarda and Advocate Dharmendra Kumar Jain, while CS Chandra Shekhar Sharma was appointed Secretary.

CA Rohit Agarwal will serve as Treasurer, and CA Akash Jain as Joint Secretary.

During the meeting, the Immediate Past President, Dinesh Kumar Sharma, felicitated the new office bearers and formally handed over the charge.

In his address, CA Pankaj Khandelia thanked the members for their trust and urged collective efforts towards advancing the common goals of the Association while upholding its dignity and professional values.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Secretary CS Chandra Shekhar Sharma.

Established as a leading professional body in the region, the Tax Bar Association represents Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Cost Accountants, Advocates, and Tax Consultants from the North-East.

The Association serves as a platform for knowledge sharing, professional development, and safeguarding the interests of both taxpayers and tax professionals, fostering collaboration and promoting best practices in taxation matters.
