Royal Enfield launches Classic 650 in India

GUWAHATI, March 28: Royal Enfield has introduced the Classic 650 in India, with prices starting at ₹3,37,000.

The latest addition to the brand’s mid-size motorcycle segment retains the signature elegance of the Classic series while offering modern design and enhanced performance.  

Describing the new model, B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Limited and CEO of Royal Enfield, said, “The Classic 650 is more than just a motorcycle – it’s a tribute to our rich legacy, where timeless design meets effortless performance.”

He emphasised that the bike continues the spirit of Royal Enfield, blending craftsmanship with an unshakable connection between rider and machine.  

Built on the brand’s proven 650cc parallel twin platform, the Classic 650 is designed to offer a refined yet powerful riding experience.

Govindarajan highlighted its appeal to motorcyclists who appreciate the Classic’s heritage but seek more power and versatility.

“With the Classic 650, we are not just building motorcycles; we are preserving the essence of pure motorcycling for generations to come,” he added.  

The Classic series has long been a symbol of Royal Enfield’s DNA, with its distinctive character and vintage-inspired aesthetics.
