Tasva inaugurates flagship store in Kolkata with Shantanu Maheshwari

GUWAHATI, Sept 18: Tasva, the wedding and occasion wear brand for the modern Indian man, launched its flagship store in Kolkata on Thursday, in the presence of Bollywood actor Shantanu Maheshwari.

The brand, a collaboration between Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited and celebrated couturier Tarun Tahiliani, aims to offer a luxury shopping experience reflecting style, tradition, and craftsmanship.

Spanning 2,500 sq ft, the store features Tasva’s festive collection, including luxurious indowesterns, bandhgalas, dinner jackets, achkans, and sherwanis, with the signature angrakha sherwani crafted from premium fabrics and adorned with intricate embroidery.

Ashish Mukul, Brand Head, Tasva, said, “We wanted our new store to stand as a reflection of the brand’s ethos – an embodiment of style, tradition, and craftsmanship.”

The store also offers personalized styling services, with highly trained in-store stylists guiding customers through fashion choices, ensuring a tailored and modern shopping experience.

Tasva has already established its presence in Kolkata, Patna, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati, reinforcing its foothold in eastern India.

Expressing his excitement about the launch, Shantanu Maheshwari said, “It’s a special feeling, especially with Durga Puja just around the corner. The festival holds such cultural significance, and I believe Tasva’s collection is perfect for the celebrations.”
