GUWAHATI, July 13: India Mobile Congress (IMC) is Asia’s premier digital technology exhibition, organised annually by the department of telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). The seventh edition of IMC is set to take place from October 27-29 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. With the theme of ‘Global Digital Innovation,’ the event serves as a meeting point for industry leaders, government officials, academics, and key stakeholders in the technology ecosystem.
IMC 2023 aims to bring together over 1,00,000 participants, including 5,000 CXO-level delegates, 350 speakers, and 400 exhibitors. It promises to be a grand affair, featuring engaging sessions, interactive displays, and insightful discussions on cutting-edge technologies. IMC 2023 will focus on various critical areas shaping the digital landscape. The key programs will shed light on topics such as 6G, advancements in 5G networks, the integration of AI in telecommunications and other domains, Edge Computing, Industry 4.0, and the emergence of India Stack.
COAI Chairman P.K. Mittal extends a warm welcome to all the participants of IMC 2023. He assures that this year’s event will be a significant milestone for India’s rapidly advancing tech industry.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, minister for communications, electronics & information technology and railways, government of India, envisions India as a technology developer, telecom manufacturer, and exporter. IMC 2023 aligns with this vision and aims to position India as a technology powerhouse. The theme for IMC 2023, “Global Digital Innovation,” encompasses various industries such as drone technology, satellite communication, mobile manufacturing, and cybersecurity startups. The event also plans to engage with international partner countries through consultations with the ministry of external affairs.
