Salman Khan’s global fame and the safety of civilians in Mumbai’s VIP area were spotlighted by the association, expressing alarm over the audacity of criminals engaging in such violent acts, particularly during election season.

The association, in its statement to ANI, called upon Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to prioritize Salman Khan’s safety and dismantle the groups orchestrating the shooting.

They expressed the widespread fear this incident has triggered within the Bollywood industry, suggesting it could lead to potential extortion attempts. The association, expressing solidarity with Salman Khan and his family, underscored the actor’s significant role in Bollywood.

It denounced the targeting of Salman Khan by unidentified gangsters seeking publicity and stressed the need for law enforcement agencies to apprehend and prosecute the guilty promptly.
