7th Annual General Meeting Of Guwahati Realtors Association Held

GUWAHATI, May 8: The 7th annual general meeting (AGM) of the Guwahati Realtors Association (GRA) were held in Guwahati.

GRA, an organisation of properties consultants of the state having over 50 members and its associates work to help people for buying and selling in real estate industry since its formation in 2017.

In this meeting a new committee formally took over the charge for 2024-26 under the leadership of Gaurav Agarwal as president, Amit Jain as vice-president, Abhimanyu Modi as secretary, Gautam Bahety as joint secretary, Pabitra Kumar Deka  as treasurer and Vishal Sharma as joint treasurer. Senior realtor, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal was also selected unanimously as the chairman of GRA. Apart from this 10 new members were also inducted into the organisation during the meeting. A workshop for realtors on Real estate Regulatory Act was also held on the occasion.

In a statement GRA said that, Rajesh Baid, East Zone head of the National Association of Realtors  (NAR_attended the meeting as  the chief guest, while  Mahesh Somani,  vice-president of NAR and Babul Sarkar, president of the Durgapur Realtors Association were present as guest of honour and special guest respectively.

In his address, Mahesh Somani, chairman of RERA committee of NAR, appealed to all realtors to register themselves under state RERA authority to boost their activities in the right manner.

GRA further stated that all members attended the event and took the opportunity to learn about RERA challenges on real estate industries.

The event was started with a Ganesh bandanna performed by Sagun Agarwal, while Muskan Agarwal entertained everyone present with melodious songs.
