GUWAHATI, Feb 26: The Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has awarded the Guwahati branch as the ‘Best Branch in the Eastern Region’ for the year 2023. The branch was selected from all branches of the Eastern region, excluding the small and micro branches.
All branches of ICAI conduct various programs aimed at uplifting the image of the profession, updating and developing the knowledge of members, training students, and engaging in nation-building activities among chartered accountants. The ‘Best Branch Award’ is given for remarkable efforts and performance on various criteria by a regional jury, considering factors such as size and member strength.
The Managing Committee of the branch, led by branch chairman CA Dr Ayush Saraf, received this award at a ceremony held in Kolkata.
