Gaza, Oct 25: Several reports have surfaced indicating a potential ground invasion of Gaza by Israel, raising concerns in India. The UN Security Council, where India voiced its worry over the deteriorating security situation and large-scale civilian casualties, is closely monitoring the Israel-Gaza conflict.
US President Joe Biden, meanwhile, stated that Israel has the right to make its own decisions, while he urged caution and affirmed US support for its ally. The Israeli Defense Forces are reportedly preparing for a ground entry into the Gaza Strip. Israel claims to have launched 400 airstrikes in the past day, targeting Hamas commanders and terrorists.
