New Delhi, March 14: The MoU was signed in a virtual meeting by Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge), Government of India, and Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law, Government of Singapore.
This collaboration marks a key milestone in the relationship between the two nations, symbolising mutual understanding, partnership, and progress.
It is noteworthy to mention that this cooperation focuses on the exchange of best practices in the sphere of law and dispute resolution, facilitating capacity building initiatives for stakeholders and enabling the adoption of efficacious mechanisms for dispute resolution.
The MoU also paves the way for further cooperation in areas of common interest such as international commercial dispute resolution and the establishment of a Joint Consultative Committee to oversee the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding.
