New Delhi, Oct 25: Indian Army chief General Manoj Pande on October 25 felicitated and complimented the team of 3/5 Gorkha Rifles for winning a Gold Medal with their stupendous performance in the prestigious Cambrian Patrol Competition in Wales, UK.
“The Team competed against 111 teams, which included 38 International teams. The Exercise is considered the ultimate test of human endurance and team spirit”, wrote Indian Army on platform X (earlier Twitter).
Exercise Cambrian Patrol, organised by the UK Army, is often referred to as the Olympics of Military Patrolling among militaries in the world.
In the year 2021, the Indian Army also won gold medal at the Cambrian Patrol Exercise held in the Uk while competing against 96 teams including 17 international teams representing Special Forces and prestigious Regiments from around the world
