AAI’s Finance department and Agartala airport gets official language shield

Guwahati, Nov 5: The regional headquarters of Airports Authority of India, North Eastern Region, Guwahati organised quarterly meeting of official language implementation committee recently. The meeting reviewed the progress report of all the offices under AAI, North East region it including the airport of the North-East region.

The meeting was presided over by Sanmukh Jugani, regional executive director, Airports Authority of India, NER.

In the meeting, the Finance department of regional headquarters, Airports Authority of India was awarded the ‘Chal Vyjayanthi’ shield for its outstanding performance in the quarter July-September 2022. Prasanta Das, officiating general manager, Finance Department and Sandeep Jha, Hindi nodal officer of the department received the Vyjayanthi shield by the regional executive director.

MBB Airport Agartala in the field stations of the North Eastern regional headquarters of the Airports Authority of India was awarded a certificate of appreciation for its excellent work in the field of official language during this quarter. Along with this, all the departments and stations also did commendable work in this quarter.

Under the incentive scheme in various categories, prize money and citation were also given to the personnel by the Department of Official Language.

Congratulating Finance department, Jugani, regional executive director, AAI, who was presiding over the quarterly meeting of the official language implementation committee of North Eastern Region, said that with the progress of Hindi, the acceptance has also increased, which is commendable. The incentive amount and scheme increase the enthusiasm of the employees to work in Hindi. I hope that everyone is encouraged and all heads of the department should also review the progress of official language so that their shortcomings can be detected and rectified. The quarterly meeting ended with the vote of thanks to the chairman.

Gian Batra, general manager (HR) along with all general managers and heads of Sections participated in this quarterly meeting. The meeting was conducted by Arvind Kumar Tiwari, senior manager, Department of Official Language, AAI.
