Addressing the rally, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Tarh Johny alleged a “Modi-Adani nexus” and demanded the immediate formation of a JPC to thoroughly investigate the alleged Adani scam.

He said that the caste census, as advocated by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, is not merely a document but a blueprint for ensuring social, economic, and political equality for all sections of society

Johny further called for genuine respect for the Indian Constitution, emphasizing the importance of equality of opportunity for all individuals, regardless of their social, economic, or political background.

He also urged the Arunachal Pradesh and Assam governments to immediately repair the dilapidated Margherita-Namdang road, a 10-kilometer stretch that has become a nightmare for daily commuters.
