GHS Saring strikes 100% in HSLC for 5th consecutive year

GUWAHATI, June 5: Government High School (GHS) Saring village, under Longchem HQ in Mokokchung district has achieved 100 percent result in High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination for the fifth year straight.

To honour the students on their achievements, the school organised a thanks giving and felicitation ceremony on June 1 at the school campus.

In her speech, DEO Mokokchung, Sentinenla congratulated the students and teachers for securing 100% in HSLC for the straight fifth year. She termed it as a great achievement and maintained that the success of the school was due to passionate of the teachers, support from the community and the hardwork of the students.

EAC Longchem, N. Orenthung Kikon while congratulating the teachers and the students, said that the mind was the only thing that limits everyone and encouraged the students to never forget what they can achieve if they put their mind into it, Nagaland Post reported.

In his felicitation message, teacher-in-charge of the school, Imkongyapang narrated the journey of the school over the last five years. He credited the church leaders for organizing dedication prayer programme for the students every year, SMDC and village council for their support.

He also thanked the parents for their care and support and congratulated the successful students. Meanwhile, Saringyim Village Council gave away Rs. 5,000 each to the successful students.

The function was attended by DEO Mokokchung, Sentinenla; EAC Longchem, N.Orenthung Kikon; Asst.District coordinator SAMAGRA, Imkongwapang; students leaders from Japukong and Saringyim, Saringyim Village council members, church leaders and parents.m
