GUWAHATI, Jan 8: In a diplomatic exchange, Mizoram chief minister Lalduhoma hosted a meeting with Nagaland deputy chief minister Y Patton at his residence in Aizawl on Monday.
Expressing the purpose of the visit, Nagaland deputy CM Y Patton conveyed his congratulations to Mizoram CM Lalduhoma.
Lalduhoma, acknowledging the visit, and said, “Today, the deputy chief minister of Nagaland, Pu Y Patton, visited my residence to convey congratulations.”
The meeting served as a platform for both leaders to engage in discussions regarding vital initiatives for the development of Northeast India.
Lalduhoma and Patton explored potential collaborations between Mizoram and Nagaland, focusing on regional needs.
The one-to-one interaction emphasized fostering stronger ties and cooperation between the two states, aiming for mutual growth and development in the Northeastern region.
