Recruitment Rally for porters to be held in Tawang

TEZPUR, April 26: A recruitment rally for porters will be conducted by the Porter Company at the Tawang Festival Ground, near the SSB Camp, Chuje GG (Tawang), under the care of 99 APO. According to information provided by Seemanta Mitra, Major and Officer Commanding of the Porter Company, the rally is scheduled to begin on May 7, 2025, and aims to recruit a total of 600 porters. The duration of employment will be 179 days.

All interested and eligible candidates are requested to report to the designated location at 0800 hours on May 7, 2025. Candidates must bring all original documents along with photocopies for verification. Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria and carry the necessary documents: Proof of age (between 18 to 40 years; date of birth between November 10, 1985, and May 14, 2007), valid proof of residence, police verification certificate (issued within the last six months), identity proof such as Voter ID or Aadhaar Card, certificate from Village Panchayat or Gaon Burha, inner line permit (for candidates not residing in Arunachal Pradesh), 12 passport-size photographs and 4 photographs of the Next of Kin (NOK), bank account details (preferably SBI), cancelled cheque leaf, and passbook copy, PMJJBY or Life Insurance Certificate, medical fitness certificate confirming suitability for employment in high-altitude areas.
