BISWANATH CHARIALI, July 16: An unidentified male body was discovered today at the Kaboimari bridge in Chalia Chapori, under the jurisdiction of Biswanath Police Station. Local residents spotted the body floating and stuck on the post of the bridge along the Ghiladhari river, prompting them to inform the Biswanath police immediately. The authorities subsequently recovered the body from the river and have sent it for autopsy. Preliminary investigations suggest that the body may have been swept away by floodwaters from another location.
