Water resources minister inaugurates Adarsha Vidyalayas

DIPHU, June 21: Minister of Water Resources, Information and Public Relations and Parliamentary Affairs Pijush Hazarika virtually inaugurated three Adarsha Vidyalaya schools.

The virtual inauguration was done at Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Old Secretariat conference hall. The schools are Adarsha Vidyalaya Rongmongve at Mendu Bey;  Adarsha Vidyalaya Lumbajong at 5th Miles  and Adarsha Vidyalaya Nilip at Hanboka, Deithor.

Inaugurating the schools the minister said, “Today we have inaugurated three Adarsha Vidyalaya schools at Lumbajong, Nilip and Rongmongve. All these schools are situated in rural areas and our children in remote villages will get admission in these schools.  These Adarsha Vidyalaya schools will provide education and children will be able to cultivate a competitive spirit among them.”

The inaugural programme was attended by chief executive member of KAAC, Tuliram Ronghang including MLA Bidyasing Engleng and Dorsing Ronghang; Executive Members and Members of Autonomous Council.
