JORHAT, April 2: Assam Police Blues beat North East United team in 57th ATPA shield football tournament which was played in the ground of Jorhat Stadium on Saturday. The match ended in a draw in the stipulated time. Assam Police won the match in the penalty shoot-out.  The tournament is organized by Jorhat District Sports Organization as a part of its centenary celebration. Earlier on the day centenary celebration flags were unfurled by 100 distinguished persons. Santanu Puzari hoisted the Jorhat District Association flag. MP Kamakhya Prassad Tasa, Dr Tapan Dutta,Taranga Gogoi, Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Barman and many dignitaries were present in the function.
