SepakTakraw, a dynamic and exciting sport that blends elements of soccer and volleyball, has been gaining popularity globally. Dr. Nunisa’s visit aimed to explore the prospects of integrating this sport into the activities of the CRPF, a move that could not only foster a sense of camaraderie among the personnel but also promote physical fitness and teamwork.

During the meeting, Dr. Thaosen displayed keen interest and enthusiasm for the idea. He assured full support for the introduction of SepakTakraw within the CRPF in the foreseeable future. This gesture reflects the CRPF’s commitment to promoting a holistic approach to the well-being of its personnel, beyond their traditional duties.

Dr. Nunisa felicitated Dr. Thaosen with a Dimasa Risha, a traditional Assamese scarf, and an Assamese Gamusa, a symbolic cloth often presented as a gesture of honour and respect.
